scottish designer donna wilson is well known for her quirky knitted home accessories. to her, knitting means,"i have complete control over the fabric i create, color, pattern and texture as i am making a fabric from a piece of yarn."
the wool she uses is spun in a yorkshire mill to create the required thickness, and then woven at a 100-year-old mill in wales. this method allows for donna's complex patterns and surface textiles.
wilson created the 'nos da throw and pillow' in 2009, which are named for a welsh phrase meaning "good night". i totally love them and their modern aztec-ness! available in licorice and blush.
